About the project

Our project aims to create a youth-focused programme that supports the improvement of mental and physical well-being. We want people who work with young people – educators, coaches, teachers – to gain practical tools to help them support the health of young people on a daily basis.

We strive to engage young people in activities that promote a healthy lifestyle and conscious care for themselves and their environment. Through workshops, activities and educational materials, we want to raise awareness of the mutual influence of mental and physical health.

We focus on three key pillars of well-being:

  • Sleep – how to ensure adequate quantity and quality of sleep, and in the case of pupils and students – how to find a balance between studying and private life.
  • Healthy diet – how to introduce simple, everyday habits that support our body and mind.
  • Physical activity – how regular exercise improves health and well-being.

When teaching about healthy eating, we also incorporate a Zero Waste perspective, encouraging a more environmentally friendly approach to food and reducing food waste.

We believe that small changes can have a huge impact on the health, energy and quality of life of young people – today and in the future.

The project is aimed at two main groups:

  • Young people aged 13–23 – young people who want to take better care of their mental and physical health, develop good habits and actively engage in activities for themselves and their environment.
  • Youth workers and educators – people working in non-governmental organisations, educational institutions, clubs and initiatives supporting the mental and physical well-being of young people. The project will provide them with tools and methods that will facilitate their daily work with young people.

Our activities bring these two groups together, creating a space for joint learning, exchange of experiences and building a community that cares about health and well-being.

As part of the project, we will undertake a number of activities that will combine education and fun in a creative and engaging way:

  • We will prepare a programme with four workshop scenarios, combining elements of fun and healthy competition with testing young people’s knowledge of healthy lifestyles.
  • We will develop and test a series of interactive workshops dedicated to four key areas of well-being, combining theory with practice and active participation of participants.
  • We will create a board game containing the most important information about healthy lifestyles in relation to the four main themes of the project, which will be an educational tool and a form of shared fun.
  • We will record a series of podcasts prepared in collaboration with young people, youth workers and educators to share knowledge, experiences and inspiration in an accessible form.

Our activities are designed to inspire, educate and engage, so that a healthy lifestyle becomes a natural part of young people’s everyday lives.

Check out what will be created as part of our project and what results we will achieve!

  • A series of podcasts featuring four international teams of young people and educators. The recordings will be available on social media, YouTube, Spotify and Google Podcast, with the aim of reaching 2,500 listeners. We will assess the effectiveness of this tool in an evaluation by conducting a survey among 80 people.
  • A workshop programme covering four topics related to healthy lifestyles, on the basis of which we will conduct 16 workshops for 192 participants.
  • A board game containing key information about healthy lifestyles, tested by 72 people and presented during 8 meetings with at least 120 participants.
  • Two international meetings with the participation of 18 representatives of partner organisations, conducive to the exchange of experiences and good practices.
  • A website and Facebook profile for the project, which will serve as a platform for sharing materials, information and results of activities.

Our results are not only specific products, but also new experiences, knowledge and inspiration that will remain with the participants long after the project has ended.
